The latest batteries are Lithium-ion or Li-Ion batteries which enable more battery power to be delivered and batteries can be quickly recharged.
Today we have the addition of a motor to many devices. Cutting for instance is made much simpler by tools like saws that have motors built in. You can still buy a hand model, but why.
The Delta company has changed hands several times since it was founded by Herbert Tautz in 1919 in his Milwaukee, Wisconsin garage.
